Taking a plane trip can be a bit stressful for some people, especially when there are delays. But considering the convenience of passengers, Google Flights (or Google Flights) has just applied some changes to your service to help you better organize your trip. The novelty, which is already available, is capable of notifying the user of confirmed flight delays, further showing which motives have led to delays. The tool can also predict some factors that may cause the delay by sending an alert. Thus, the passenger is already leaving home prepared for a possible inconvenience. To check if there will be delay, just search for the flight number and airline name. Photo: Canaltech Google is using machine learning and artificial intelligence in the delay forecasts and, according to the company, the probability of success is 80%. For Delta flights, American Airlines and United Airlines, another news item: Google started showing what is not included in the flight of interest of the passenger, such as luggage, seat choice, among other benefits of each package. The Mountain View Giant's Flights will use Artificial Intelligence to gather information about airlines and data to see if a flight will be late. The Google flight search engine will use algorithms to avoid some pitfalls for those traveling by plane. While already showing delays whenever an airline makes them official, through the use of machine learning and flight data, the application will be able to make that data visible before there is confirmation from the airport. Google Flights will still show the possible reasons for the delay, however, these predictions will only be shown if the system is at least 80% sure that the delay will happen. In this way, you will also be able to access information about the company in which you are traveling, no longer having to go to their website to know, for example, how many bags you can carry. The feature will be available soon, and for now, for flights in the United States.
