WODS members appeared at the Williamsburg Community Festival (near Westmount/Fishcher-Hallman) on September 13 to promote disc sports in the local community.  A great time was had by all.  Many than

Mixed-Up 2009 was held in Ottawa Ontario.  Many players from the tri-cities area where at the tournament.  Liquid came in second place after narrowly loosing to the final Onyx, 8-10.

This year three of the 4 mixed divisions were taken by teams from KW and Liquid won the tournament!  Also, PPF took second place overall in the Womens tournament, I believe they narrowly lost to Lotus in the final.  Congratulations to Liquid, PPF, The Company and Crisis; way to represent the region!

Congratulations to the Mannschaft (UW Open Team) who finished tied for 5th at UPA university sectionals in Kalamazoo April 18 and 19! The team entered the tournament ranked 12th but moved up the standings with a gritty double game point win over Calvin College in pool play to push into the top eight and a convincing win over U of T's Torontula during the Sunday play-offs. The team is looking forward to a chance to improve on their ranking at next year's tournament.

The 2009 Liquid Indoor Tournaments at RIM Park were a very exciting event this year.  There were numerous examples of teamwork and super-human abilities.
